This is a short video of basic portrait retouching. I always tend not to bring it to its extremes as I do not want to make puppets out of models. However, small temporary imperfections have to be taken care of. When we look to another person we see its overall image, and do not take our attention to small details as pimples or red spots etc. The purpose of retouching is to keep the same overall image of a person intact, but in order to print the photo in the magazine, some small adjustments have to be made. I do not support major adjustments, and there is always enough time to bring the best out of a person already in camera.
